How a Workshop Works

1. wARM uP

In the first phase your facilitator guides you in building your skills to create metaphors and stories using LEGO bricks.

2. pose a question

Once you have built your skills your facilitator will pose a question relevant to the topic of your workshop

3. bUILD A MODEL

You build your response to the question individually.

4. tELL YOUR STORY

You share your story using your model – everybody builds, and everybody tells. This can also be a time of reflection for others.

5. dRILLING dOWN

Guided by your facilitator you will drill down into your story and refine it, what is the pain point.

6. 3d mODELLING

Collectively we build a 3D model representing the landscape of the current situation, including all stakeholders, internal and external and agents (anything that can directly or indirectly impact the organisation)

7. wHAT ARE THE CONNECTIONS

We identify and place the connections of the stakeholders and agents to the current situation.

8. tESTING THE SITUATION

Through play, we test future scenarios using our model, this gives insight on new ways for future action.

9. iT'S A WRAP

Using the collective knowledge and insights gained, we define our actions that address what’s possible.
